• Harcourt granite has been quarried since the early gold rush era, and has proven itself not only to be beautiful but also an extremely strong, stable, colour fast and durable natural stone.
• Mount Granite Quarries is one of the oldest still operational quarries on Mount Alexander (near Castlemaine Victoria) and is a family run and operated business, situated about 1 ¼ hour drive time from the Melbourne CBD.
• Harcourt Granite is available as polished slabs for bench tops, polished or stone face for monumental purposes, as building and walling stone pitches, large or small landscaping boulders, and also as sills, lintels, steps, etc produced to size.  Mount Granite Quarries can produce this stone from their own quarry to your specific requirements, either as block form or as the finished product.

*  Due to the vast number of combinations available coupled with high demand, not all items can be carried in stock, however we strive to produce all stone exactly to client specifications and in a timely manner.
*  Being a totally natural product, colour variations etc may be expected, however Harcourt Granite is renowned for its uniformity and high quality.
